The Asia-Pacific regional Hub of Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN) works actively to drive the advocacy for a Universal Basic Income (UBI) in twenty five countries from Afghanistan to New Zealand. The hub also coordinates among several BIEN affiliates and allies in the region. Through the hubs in Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, BIEN aims to amplify the Global South voices so that the path to UBI is rooted in the unique social, cultural, and political contexts of each country.
